1.ORDERS
Customer is responsible to check with your local building department before ordering to determine if a building permit is required. In the event a building permit is required, permitting your Studio Shed and compliance with all applicable local building codes is the responsibility of the customer. Additional charges will apply for permitted installations. Orders remain in a pending status for a period of 72 hours to allow for member to cancel with no penalty. All orders must include signed copy of sales contract and paid for at the warehouse during the Special Event.
Home Owners Association (HOA) approvals are the responsibility of the customer and need to be researched and approved prior to delivery and installation of your Studio Shed
2. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations may be made within 72 hours of time an order is received. Each and every Studio Shed is customized and unique for every member and manufactured to personal specifications which cannot be cancelled after the expiration of the 72-hour right of recisssion/cancellation period. Custom orders cannot be cancelled and refunded after 72 hours of placing your order. If you wish to cancel, please notify Costco at 1-866-439-8682 within that 72 hour period
3. SCHEDULING INSTALLATION
You will be contacted 3 days after receipt of your order to schedule the delivery and installation of your Studio Shed. Since every Studio Shed is custom built for you – delivery dates will be 4-6 weeks from date of delivery. All orders must be built within 6 months from the date of order.
4. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
Delivery and Professional Installation are included in the price of the Studio Shed. Installer will deliver and begin assembly of your Studio Shed the same day. Prior to arrival the site must be prepared.
- Site to be level within 6” of level
- Customer agrees to facilitate the location of utility lines and identifying property lines 3 days prior to scheduled installation date
- Area must be clear and free of debris with 3’ of clearance around and above the space required for the shed to allow installer to assemble your new Studio Shed
- Customer agrees to provide power within 150’ of the installation site. If power is not available customer may be billed for the use of a generator to supply power
- Due to the size and weight of the panelized components – the installer will need access for their delivery vehicle within 100’ of site for product to be offloaded
5. PERMITS
Compliance with all local codes and requirements is the responsibility of the customer. If you determine that a building permit is required in your area it is the responsibility of the customer to obtain the building permit. In the event a permit is required Studio Shed will provide architectural plans of the structure at no charge for submission to the local building department. If an engineer stamp is required, Studio Shed can provide this service for an additional charge, and modifications to the structure or foundation may be required in some cases. HOA approvals, if required, are the responsibility of the customer.
6. UPON COMPLETION
At the time of completion, Customer and the Certified Installer will perform a final walk-through inspection and execute a Certificate of Completion. Customer must be available at time of completion.
7. LIMITED WARRANTY
Studio Shed warrants to the original purchaser of the Product that, should there be any defects in the material or workmanship during the initial 12 months (one year) from Customer’s receipt of the Product, Studio Shed will either repair or replace the covered defects. Customer must notify Studio Shed of any claim of defects in the material or workmanship within twelve (12) months after Customer’s receipt of the Product. Said notice must be in writing, set forth specifically the basis for the claim, and include a photograph of the defect(s). All warranty claim notices should be sent to Studio Shed, attention to General Manager, 1500 Cherry Street, Suite S, Louisville, CO, 80027. This warranty gives Customer specific legal rights. (Customer may also have other rights which may vary from state to state).
